Biography

Kathy O’Keefe-Rivera brings over 20 years legal experience to O’Keefe, Rivera & Berk, LLC.  In 1993, Kathy began her legal career at the law firm of James S. Stola where she practiced in the areas of real estate transactions, family law and personal injury law. Later, she joined the law firm of Shaheen, Lundberg, Callahan & Orr.   In 2001, she started her own firm, focusing on representing buyers and sellers in all types of residential and commercial real estate transactions.

In June, 2015, Kathy became a partner at O’Keefe, Rivera & Berk, LLC. During her legal career, she has represented thousands of real estate clients throughout the State of Illinois.  From contract to closing, Kathy focuses on delivering a seamless real estate transaction for her clients.  When complications arise, Kathy provides immediate solutions.  The experience that Kathy has gained over her legal career enables her real estate clients to feel confident and informed throughout the entire process.
